Maria Rivera and Debbie Garcia

Debbie Garcia enrolled at the Branford Hall Career Institute of Bohemia, NY in April 2005, with 15 years of customer service experience. Tired of the "corporate culture" in the debt management company she worked for, Debbie shares, "I was looking for something that would draw on my experience and provide me with a better standard of living doing something I liked to do!"

Debbie enrolled in the Medical Billing and Coding program because she was interested in the medical field. She was pleased with her experience, sharing, "The admissions team helped me find the best program for me while the financial aid staff helped me work through the financial details. My teachers tried to make learning as easy as possible and the Career Services office helped me secure several job interviews before graduation." 

Debbie was hired at New Tech Healthcare Management. "I LOVE my job! It is exactly what I was looking for and I am so happy!” Sean Tracey, Office Manager, thinks highly of Branford Hall and has employed several graduates, including Maria Rivera, a graduate from 2002.

Debbie believes her decision to return to school not only positively influenced her own life, but that of her four daughters as well. "I got the chance to show them that there is always an opportunity to change."

In conclusion, Debbie shares, "For a while, I wasn't sure if I'd made the right decision to go back to school, but now I am so happy that I did! To wake up and actually be happy about going to work is something I never thought I would feel. My experience with Branford Hall has really paid off!"
