Leigh Goodwin and Maria Centeno

Both Leigh Goodwin and Maria Centeno decided to go back to school because they did not see a future at their current jobs. “It was time to think about what I wanted to do with the rest of my life,” Leigh shares. Maria expresses, “Working at a hotel wasn’t something I wanted to be doing twenty years from now.”

Leigh always found the healthcare field interesting and enrolled into the Health Claims Specialist program at Seacoast Career School in Manchester, NH. “I looked into many schools in my area and Seacoast fit my needs the best,” she says.

Maria researched what careers are in demand and found out that Health Claims offers excellent opportunities. “I realized how fast this field is growing and I enrolled at Seacoast,” Maria states.

In fact, according to the U.S. Department of Labor, Health Claims Specialist is one of the most rapidly expanding careers you will find throughout the United States today!

The two were worried about coming back to school, but soon realized they were not the only ones to return after so many years. “A lot of my fellow classmates were just like me,” Maria shares.

Leigh and Maria were both permanently hired from their externship site, Interventional Spine, following their graduation! Externship sites provide students with real-world experience and frequently hire students on a full time basis following the completion of their program.

Their lives have improved greatly since graduating from Seacoast Career School. Leigh explains, “I moved into a bigger place and finally have that second car my family and I so desperately needed. I have peace of mind not having to worry about a roof over my head or food on the table.”

Maria says, “I now have many options that I wasn’t even aware were out there.”

Congratulations to Maria and Leigh for taking control of their futures!Seacoast Career Schools
