Josh Oliva was studying to become a Mechanical Engineer at the University of Connecticut when he realized he couldn’t see himself working in a manufacturing environment. “The major wasn’t for me,” Josh said.
After some research, he enrolled in the Computer Information Technology program at Branford Hall Career Institute in Windsor, CT. Josh stated, “There is no doubt that CIT is a field that will always need skilled employees and I was looking for a method by which I could grow the fastest in the shortest amount of time. After going over Branford Hall’s curriculum, I was sure I wanted to attend this school. Branford Hall was the obvious choice.”
Josh enjoyed his educational experience. “The environment was quite comfortable. Due to the size of my classes, I felt there was a lot of one-on-one time. The teachers were all willing to stay after and work with you to ensure your success also,” Josh expressed.
Since graduating, Josh has become an Information Technology Technician for Global Help Desk Services located in Hartford, CT. Josh shares, “I have found a very fulfilling career. I look forward to many years of learning and growing. I am dedicated to my new profession that will support me for the rest of my life.”
Josh also added, “Since I’ve been blessed with this great opportunity, I find myself more eager to better everything else in my life. I have gotten deeper in my passions for music and I have been far more dedicated towards bettering my health. I am ready for whatever life has to throw at me. Branford Hall set me in the right direction, for which I am grateful.”
