Following a company layoff, Ann Bucchino visited a local unemployment office. "The unemployment officer said that when people get to this kind of crossroads they often go back to school. He asked me what my passion was and I told him I had never thought of employment in that way before. After some soul searching, I decided to go back to school. It was the best decision I ever made."
Because she liked the legal field and already had experience in office administration, Ann decided to pursue Legal Office Administration at the Salter School of Worcester, MA.
Ann shares that she had concerns about enrolling. "I realized I was going to have to make some sacrifices. I had been out of school for some time and the thought of not bringing home a paycheck was frightening. I took the time to really think about it and did some budgeting and was able to work school into my life."
Ann made the dean's list every module and graduated making the President's List for maintaining a combined program GPA of 3.0. She was also nominated to receive the Outstanding Student Achievement Award given by The Massachusetts Association of Private Career Schools.
